Intellectual Property

All content, materials, course recordings, lesson plans, graphics, logos, software, and other elements made available through Egypt Quran Teacher are the exclusive intellectual property of Egypt Quran Teacher and its licensors. This includes, but is not limited to, patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and moral rights (collectively, "Egypt Quran Teacher IP").

Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to reproduce, distribute, adapt, or commercially exploit any Egypt Quran Teacher IP beyond what is expressly permitted. Unauthorised use may result in civil or criminal liability.

Idea Submissions: If you choose to share suggestions, feedback, or improvement ideas with us, you agree that such submissions are voluntary and unrestricted. Egypt Quran Teacher may use your ideas freely and owes you no compensation or attribution in connection with them.

Access to Services

Egypt Quran Teacher grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable licence to access and use our platform solely for lawful, personal, and educational purposes consistent with these Terms.

This licence does not include the right to:

  • Impersonate any teacher, student, or staff member of Egypt Quran Teacher

Any unauthorised use immediately terminates the licence granted to you under these Terms.

Services, Content & Specifications

Details of all courses and services available on Egypt Quran Teacher are listed on our website. We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any service, course, pricing, or teacher assignment at any time and without prior notice.

Course descriptions, session counts, and schedules are provided for guidance and may be adjusted in response to student progress, teacher availability, or curriculum updates. By placing an order or scheduling sessions, you confirm that the services will be used solely for lawful educational purposes.

Where a service delivery is delayed for reasons beyond our control, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you promptly and communicate a revised schedule.

Subscriptions

a. Subscription Terms

Egypt Quran Teacher offers monthly and term-based subscription packages for Quran classes. The specific terms of each package — including duration, session count, and pricing — will be disclosed to you at the time of enrolment. Proceeding with payment constitutes your acceptance of those terms.

b. Free Trial Classes

We offer a complimentary trial session so that students can experience our teaching style and meet their assigned tutor before committing to a paid plan. If you wish to discontinue after a trial, simply notify us before the trial session concludes. If we do not receive a cancellation notice, enrolment into a paid plan may begin. We will send a reminder before any billing commences.

c. Cancellation Policy

Your cancellation rights and the notice period required will be communicated at the time of purchase. To cancel a subscription, please contact our support team at info@egyptquranteacher.com. Refund eligibility following cancellation is governed by our Refund Policy.

Your Account

Certain features of Egypt Quran Teacher, including enrolling in courses and managing your sessions, require you to create an account. When registering, you must provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date.

  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity conducted under your account — including purchases and session bookings — is your responsibility
  • You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account
  • Egypt Quran Teacher reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms

Sanctions & Export Compliance

You may not access or use Egypt Quran Teacher from any country, entity, or person that is subject to sanctions or embargoes imposed by relevant governmental authorities, including those listed by the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Egypt Quran Teacher does not guarantee that its services are appropriate, legal, or available in every jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of our services complies with the laws of your country.

No Warranties

Egypt Quran Teacher provides its platform, content, and services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no express or implied warranties regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Specifically, we do not warrant or guarantee:

  • That the platform will be available without interruption or error at all times
  • That all course content will meet every individual student's specific learning needs
  • That the platform is entirely free from viruses, bugs, or other harmful elements
  • The accuracy or completeness of any third-party information accessible through our platform

Your use of any content, tools, or downloads from Egypt Quran Teacher is entirely at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Egypt Quran Teacher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, loss of data, or personal injury — arising from your use of or inability to use our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Egypt Quran Teacher expressly disclaims responsibility for damages resulting from:

  • Unauthorised access to your account due to inadequate password protection on your end
  • Third-party hacking, tampering, or data breaches beyond our reasonable control
  • Your use of the platform in a manner inconsistent with our guidelines
  • Bugs, viruses, or malicious code transmitted via third-party integrations
  • Inaccuracies in data you submit to us
In any event, our total cumulative liability to you shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total fees paid by you to Egypt Quran Teacher in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $20.

Disputes & Resolution

a. Binding Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, including questions about their scope or validity, shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, before a single arbitrator seated in San Francisco, California. Disputes primarily concerning intellectual property rights shall be litigated in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.

b. Class Action Waiver

All disputes shall be resolved on an individual basis. Neither party may bring or participate in a class action, consolidated action, or representative proceeding, whether in arbitration or in court.

c. Arbitration Awards

The arbitrator may award monetary damages and other remedies as permitted under California law. The arbitrator's written decision shall be final, binding, and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction in San Francisco, California.

d. Costs & Fees

Each party shall advance half of all arbitration costs. The prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys' fees and costs as determined by the arbitrator.

e. Confidentiality

All arbitration proceedings, hearings, and awards shall remain confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to enforce an award before a court.

Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute arising out of your use of Egypt Quran Teacher, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Modifications to These Terms

Egypt Quran Teacher reserves the right to update, revise, or replace any part of these Terms at any time, with effect from the date of publication on our website. Changes apply prospectively and do not affect rights or obligations that arose before the revision date.
